Burchfield Penney Art Center: Celebrating Regional Art in Buffalo, NY

Located at 1300 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14222.  Burchfield Penney Art Center is an award-winning art museum, dedicated to regional art and artists. Established in 1966, Burchfield Penney has a rich history of supporting and promoting Western New York artists. It is a member of the Association of Art Museum Directors, and is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. The Burchfield Penney Art Center is also a member of the National Endowment for the Arts and the Institute for Museum and Library Sciences. The Burchfield Penney Art Center is located on the campus of Buffalo State College. The center is free to the public and features more than 30 exhibitions per year. It also hosts a number of performances throughout the year.
