BUMPER REPAIR & REPLACEMENT

One of the most common types of auto collision work is bumper repair, painting, and replacement. In some bumper repair cases there may be damage behind the bumper cover. Once the vehicle is in our shop and after we remove the bumper, we will check for possible frame damage too.

The bumper on your vehicle can get dented in a variety of different ways ranging from hitting a pole to being rear ended. We may be able to work out the dent and perform body work and then paint it. Elmwood Collision will let you know whether the bumper can be repaired or if you're better off to simply replace it. We work with you and help you with your insurance claim to assure you that your vehicle is back to pre-accident condition.

In order to minimize damage, front and rear bumpers are designed to absorb impact in a low-speed collision. If there is minimal damage to a standard bumper cover we most likely can repair and repaint it. Some of the types of bumpers we replace include Standard Bumpers (mostly found on passenger vehicles), Deep Drop Bumpers, Roll Pan Bumpers, Step Bumpers, and Tube Bumpers (typically found on Jeeps).

When you bring your vehicle in for an estimate, we will give you an accurate quote on what the repair will cost.
