Its collection includes a rare 1948 Playboy car. It also has a special section to explore featuring cars that are used in the James Bond movie. The museum also has a collection of vintage auto posters and other items related to the proud history of automobiles in New York. The museum also hosts guided tours.

The Buffalo Transportation Pierce Arrow Museum is owned by James Sandoro. Sandoro is a Buffalo native who has amassed a large collection of antique vehicles. He and his wife Mary Ann have a strong interest in Western New York's transportation history. Sandoro has collected over 5000 vehicles over the last thirty years, including an assortment of rare vehicles. Sandoro has plans to expand the museum to create a world-class auto museum.
