Originally built as the First Church of Christ, Scientist, this neoclassical building was later converted to a Karpeles Manuscript Library. Unveiling History: Rare Prison Letters, Confessions & Iconic Notes

The Library's permanent collection of historical documents is complemented by rotating traveling exhibits. The current exhibit, Letters From the Pen, features prison letters from John Dillinger and Al Capone, as well as a letter from Gandhi while imprisoned. In addition, there is an original confession letter from Leon F. Czolgosz, a letter from Galileo under house arrest, and notes from the wedding song "Steamboat Willie".
